Dr. John Stebbins graduated from the San Francisco School of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine in 1986. He received his doctorate in 1989 through the Post Graduate Institute of Oriental Medicine in Hong Kong. Originally licensed in the state of California in 1987, he became one of the first 100 acupuncturists licensed in Colorado in 1991. He was an instructor at the Colorado School of Traditional Chinese Medicine for 23 years. Prior to his career in Oriental medicine, John's background included emergency medicine as a Fire Paramedic in Chicago. He also was co-founder of the National Sports Acupuncture Association and has worked with many professional athletes.
He resides in Littleton, Colorado with his wife of 39 years, and has three sons.
